CVE-2026-69200Public exploitNetwork attack vectorHinoki check available

Denial of service via prototype-polluting event fields

Published Sep 16, 2026 · Updated Sep 18, 2026

Prototype pollution in node-opcua-client before 2.145.0 allows remote attackers to interrupt applications through crafted event fields. The fieldsToJson method in client_alarm.ts directly assigns unsanitized dotted field names, allowing a proto.pollutedKey path to modify Object.prototype. Exploitation requires an application to pass attacker-controlled event fields into that method, enabling service interruption or runtime logic corruption.
