CVE-2026-69192Public exploitNetwork attack vector

SSRF via decimal decoding of leading-zero octets

Published Aug 3, 2026 · Updated Aug 3, 2026

SSRF in Address4 in Beau Gunderson ip-address before 10.3.1 allows remote attackers to reach internal hosts via leading-zero IPv4 literals. Address4.parse accepts those octets through RE_ADDRESS and parseInt decodes them as decimal, while URL and socket resolvers interpret them as octal. Exploitation requires a consuming application to trust Address4 classification for a user-supplied host; the mismatch can expose RFC 1918 services.
