Cross-cluster data access via missing scope validation
Published Aug 26, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026
Authorization bypass in 1Panel-dev KubePi 2.0.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read or modify data in unauthorized clusters. Cluster-scoped APIs act on cluster-specific data without confirming that the requesting user has access to the selected cluster. Exploitation requires a KubePi account with cluster-management permission and role and cluster configurations that expose multiple scopes.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
