Authentication bypass in AWS Ops Wheel v2 through PR #163 allows remote attackers to obtain administrative access with a forged JWT. The v2 API authorizer functions decode_jwt_payload_only() and validate_token_basic() base64-decode the token payload and trust its claims without verifying an RS256 signature. Network access to the deployment's API Gateway endpoint is required; successful exploitation permits cross-tenant data reading, modification, and deletion and Cognito user-account management.
