Unauthenticated browser script execution via unencoded SAML exceptions
Published Aug 3, 2026 · Updated Aug 3, 2026
Reflected XSS in Admidio before 5.0.11 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through a crafted SSO/SAML URL. The outer catch block in modules/sso/index.php writes attacker-controlled SAML and LightSaml exception messages into an HTML response without encoding them. SAML SSO must be enabled and a victim must visit the URL; script execution exposes that victim's session data and account actions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
