Cross-project job manipulation via missing authorization
Published Oct 16, 2026 · Updated Oct 16, 2026
Apache Kylin 4 through 5.0.4 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate cross-project jobs via authorization flaws. JobController forwards job-status requests and destroys project job processes without first checking project operation permissions. These paths require service access and ordinarily authentication; Apache identifies publicly exposed deployments as the principal exposure, with consequences bounded to unauthorized job control.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
