Remote code execution via unvalidated server instructions

Code injection in the P4 command-line client before 2025.2 Patch 2 allows remote attackers to execute code through a malicious server response. The client accepts unbound protocol handler instructions that write P4LOGINSSO into a configuration file, then launches its value as a shell command. Exploitation requires a user to connect to an attacker-controlled server or run P4 in a project whose hidden configuration redirects the client there; code runs with that user's privileges.
