CVE-2026-68971Network attack vector

Cross-team Dag and XCom access via unscoped authorization

Published Aug 12, 2026 · Updated Aug 12, 2026

Missing authorization in Apache Airflow before 3.3.1 allows remote authenticated users to access other teams' Dags and XComs. The asset materialization route and wait_dag_run_until_finished XCom check build DagDetails without team_name, causing the auth manager to evaluate a global DAG resource instead of the team-scoped resource. Exploitation requires multi-team mode, a team-aware auth manager, and an account in one team; it permits cross-team Dag runs and XCom reads, while FAB deployments are unaffected.
