Authenticated secret disclosure via unmasked bulk audit logs
Published Aug 12, 2026 · Updated Aug 12, 2026
Information disclosure in Apache Airflow before 3.3.1 allows remote authenticated users to read secrets from bulk API audit logs. The audit-log decorators inspect only top-level field names, so they miss val, value, and extra inside actions and entities and record those values unchanged. Audit-log read permission is sufficient even without Variable or Connection read permission, and importing Variables through the UI reaches the affected bulk path.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
