Authentication bypass in Digital Watchdog VMAX recorders allows remote attackers to read plaintext administrator credentials via HTTP(S). CISA has not disclosed the affected HTTP endpoint or the authentication check omitted when crafted requests return sensitive device information. Access from an adjacent network to the recorder HTTP(S) service is sufficient; the reported impact is credential and device-information disclosure.
