Cross-app command execution via exported terminal service
Published Sep 18, 2026 · Updated Sep 18, 2026
Command injection in Acode 1.11.6 through 1.12.6 allows local users to execute shell commands as Acode through a co-installed app. Acode's exported TerminalService accepts MSG_EXEC messages without a binding permission or caller check, then passes the cmd string to ProcessBuilder with sh -c. A zero-permission Android app can bind the service without additional interaction and access Acode's private data, stored remote credentials, file grants, and runtime permissions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
