CVE-2026-68772Network attack vector

Arbitrary code execution via unverified pickle loading

Published Aug 7, 2026 · Updated Aug 7, 2026

Deserialization of untrusted data in ZenML 0.94.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code through shared artifacts. CloudpickleMaterializer passes artifact.pkl to cloudpickle.load() without first verifying its recorded content hash, so a crafted reduce method runs system commands. An attacker needs write access to a shared artifact store, and a user or pipeline must later materialize the replaced artifact.
