Unsafe deserialization in ComfyUI 0.23.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary Python code through crafted dataset shards. LoadTrainingDataset.execute passes attacker-controlled shard_*.pkl content to torch.load without weights_only=True, enabling pickle reduce execution on PyTorch before 2.6. The attack requires network access to an instance exposed beyond its default localhost binding and runs commands as the ComfyUI process user.
