Sensitive-data access via reverted initial credentials
Published May 12, 2026 · Updated May 12, 2026
Insecure defaults in Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Panel Server 002.005.000 and earlier allow remote attackers to read sensitive information. The credential initialization path can restore initial credentials in rare circumstances instead of preserving configured values. No privileges or user interaction are required after reversion; known initial credentials then permit unauthorized authentication and sensitive-data access.
