Content disclosure via unfiltered backlink endpoints
Published Aug 3, 2026 · Updated Aug 3, 2026
Missing authorization in SiYuan before 3.7.3 allows remote attackers to read publish-forbidden document content through backlink APIs. The getBacklinkDoc and getBackmentionDoc endpoints return rendered DOM without applying the publish-access filters used by their list counterparts. Reachability requires a publish reader and valid document and block IDs; access is anonymous when publish Basic Auth is disabled, and the endpoints do not modify data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
