Subscriber privilege escalation
Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 18, 2026
Privilege escalation in StylemixThemes MasterStudy LMS before 3.7.42 allows remote authenticated users to gain elevated privileges. Patchstack and the vendor have not disclosed the vulnerable endpoint, function, or parameter, only that a subscriber-reachable authorization or privilege-assignment flaw is involved. Exploitation requires a valid Subscriber account and can expand that account's permissions on the WordPress site, with no public evidence of code execution or observed in-the-wild use.
