Root code execution via untrusted search path
Published Sep 23, 2026 · Updated Sep 23, 2026
Untrusted search path handling in Plesk for Linux allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code as root through its RESTful API extension. Plesk identifies the flaw class but does not disclose the affected file, function, searched resource, or attacker-controlled path element. Exploitation requires affected versions of both Plesk and the default-installed extension; Plesk for Windows is unaffected.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
