Kernel panic via failed runtime resume

Denial of service in sdhci-esdhc-imx in Linux kernel 6.16 allows local users to trigger a kernel panic during system suspend. The suspend path calls pm_runtime_get_sync() but continues after a failed resume, leaving the device unclocked before register access. A low-privileged local user must be able to initiate suspend on hardware using the affected driver; exploitation crashes the host without exposing or modifying data.
