Protected-file disclosure via wrong OverlayFS credentials

Improper access control in affected Linux OverlayFS kernels allows local users to read protected files via cross-filesystem copies. The OverlayFS copy_file_range path checks source-read access with the destination mount's credentials instead of the source mount's credentials. Exploitation requires local access to copy between separate OverlayFS mounts backed by the same filesystem, and the bounded consequence is unauthorized file disclosure.
