System crash via optional outbound IPTFS template

A stack out-of-bounds read in affected Linux kernel releases allows local users to crash the system through an outbound XFRM policy. xfrm_tmpl_resolve_one accepts an optional IPTFS template that should be rejected like tunnel mode, allowing xfrm_state_find to reach an out-of-bounds address hash read. Exploitation requires permission to configure local XFRM policies; inbound and forwarding policies do not reach the affected path.
