Improper validation in the Linux irdma driver allows local users to cause unspecified impact through a special RDMA registration. The rereg_mr path accepts non-memory QP, CQ, and SRQ regions that lack a valid mkey, then emits a real CQP operation using the zero-initialized key value 0. Reachability requires a local userspace application that can create and re-register those RDMA objects; the Linux kernel CVE team has not published the resulting hardware or kernel behavior.
