Local kernel compromise via premature QP publication

Race condition in the Linux RDMA/siw component allows local users to crash the kernel or compromise kernel memory through QP creation. siw_create_qp() inserts a queue pair into the QPN lookup table before initializing its queues, completion queues, state, completion object, and device-list entry. Exploitation requires local access to the siw RDMA character devices and concurrent QP creation and lookup; systems not using siw RDMA are unaffected.
