Kernel memory disclosure via null-address checksum fallback

Incorrect checksum handling in Linux allows remote attackers to disclose kernel memory through crafted network traffic. On s390 systems without the vector facility, csum_partial() calls csum_copy() with a null destination, causing the fallback to checksum address zero instead of the source buffer. Network traffic reaches the path without credentials; emitted checksums can reveal low kernel memory, accept corrupted payloads, disrupt connectivity, or crash the kernel.
