CVE-2026-6837Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Administrator command execution via unescaped export password

Published Aug 4, 2026 · Updated Aug 4, 2026

Command injection in Zyxel Networks WAX650S firmware 7.10(ABRM.4)C0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute OS commands. The export-cgi PKCS#12 branch embeds the certificate export password in a shell command passed to system(), allowing a double quote to terminate the intended argument and inject shell syntax. Administrator access and an existing certificate are required, and injected commands run as root.
