FireWire datagram loss via incomplete fragment merging

Datagram reassembly error in the Linux kernel allows adjacent attackers to interrupt FireWire network packet delivery. fwnet_frag_new() compares neighbors against a fragment's old edge and treats the list head as a fragment, so bridging ranges can remain unmerged and fwnet_pd_is_complete() misses a complete datagram. Reachability requires crafted fragmented traffic over a FireWire network; the demonstrated consequence is loss of completed datagram delivery.
