CVE-2026-68282

Local system crash via unchecked memory resource

Published Aug 10, 2026 · Updated Aug 10, 2026

NULL pointer dereference in Linux 6.15 and later affected releases allows local users to crash Rockchip systems during analogix_dp initialization. The rockchip_dp_probe function accepts a NULL result from platform_get_resource when the platform memory resource is absent and continues into code that dereferences it. Exposure requires a Rockchip SoC using the analogix_dp driver; systems without that hardware path are unaffected, and the documented impact is a kernel crash.
