Contributor-level stored XSS via unescaped permission message
Published May 13, 2026 · Updated May 13, 2026
Stored XSS in WPManageNinja Fluent Forms 6.2.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through permission_message. Component.php interpolates the permission_message shortcode attribute directly into the form-not-renderable HTML response without output escaping. Contributor-level access is required, and the payload executes when a user loads a page containing the crafted shortcode.
