Kernel memory corruption via forged MST replies

Buffer overflows in Linux allow physically proximate attackers to corrupt kernel memory via forged DisplayPort MST sideband replies. drm_dp_sideband_append_payload() trusts a six-bit message length, permits zero to underflow to 255, overfills chunk[48], and copies accumulated data past msg[256]. A malicious physical DP MST device is required; the published record establishes out-of-bounds kernel reads and writes but does not specify a resulting crash or code execution.
