Kernel crash via analog encoder misassignment

NULL pointer dereference in the AMD DCE100 display driver in Linux allows local users to crash the kernel through a second DP MST stream. When the preferred digital stream encoder is busy, dce100_find_first_free_match_stream_enc_for_link() can select an analog DAC encoder whose function table lacks dp_set_stream_attribute, and link_set_dpms_on() then calls the NULL hook. Exploitation requires an AMD DCE8-class GPU and a DisplayPort MST daisy chain with a second monitor connected at boot or hot-plugged.
