CVE-2026-68230

Kernel memory corruption via unchecked ISP zone counts

Published Aug 10, 2026 · Updated Aug 10, 2026

Out-of-bounds memory access in the Amlogic C3 ISP driver in Linux 6.16 allows local users to corrupt kernel memory through AE or AWB settings. The c3_isp_params_awb_wt() and c3_isp_params_ae_wt() paths derive a zone count from unvalidated horizontal and vertical counts and index fixed zone_weight arrays past their bounds. Reaching the flaw requires low-privileged local access, Amlogic C3 ISP hardware and a crafted configuration; the bounded consequence is memory corruption or a system crash.
