CVE-2026-68199

Kernel memory corruption via unchecked ADDBA window

Published Aug 10, 2026 · Updated Aug 10, 2026

Out-of-bounds access in the ath6kl Wi-Fi driver in affected Linux kernels allows adjacent attackers to corrupt kernel memory via ADDBA frames. aggr_recv_addba_req_evt() logs an invalid firmware-supplied win_sz but continues, letting TID_WINDOW_SZ() produce a zero-sized or overflowed allocation used by the receive queue. A malicious Wi-Fi peer must share the wireless segment; exploitation can crash the kernel or expose and modify kernel memory.
