Unauthenticated stored script execution via unescaped rate_reason
Published May 2, 2026 · Updated May 2, 2026
Stored XSS in AYS Pro Quiz Maker 6.7.1.29 and earlier allows remote attackers to persist scripts through the rate_reason parameter. Quiz Maker accepts the rate_reason value without sufficient input sanitization and later renders the stored value without output escaping. No account is required to plant the payload; script execution occurs when a user opens a page that displays the injected reason.
