Use-after-free in Linux X.25 networking allows remote attackers to crash the kernel or execute code via crafted link-control traffic. x25_kill_by_neigh() drops x25_list_lock without retaining a socket reference, letting concurrent x25_release() processing free the socket before lock_sock() or later inspection. Reachability requires an X.25 interface and a socket close racing neighbor teardown; successful reuse corrupts kernel memory, while controlled testing reproduced a slab use-after-free.
