Kernel panic via flush-marked skb double aggregation
Published Aug 10, 2026 · Updated Aug 10, 2026
Denial of service in the Linux kernel allows remote attackers to trigger a kernel panic via crafted TCP traffic through a forwarding host. skb_gro_receive_list() re-aggregates flush-marked skbs with an existing frag_list, corrupting the chain before skb_segment() dereferences invalid state. Reachability requires forwarded, tethered, or NAT traffic to re-enter GRO with rx-gro-list enabled; successful exploitation crashes the host.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
