Transmission hang via incomplete hardware-parsed packets

Denial of service in the Linux rtase driver allows remote attackers to hang packet transmission via crafted network traffic. The hardware parser requests absent header data from incomplete IP or transport headers and undersized PTP-like UDP payloads. Systems must use the rtase driver with affected Realtek hardware; the bounded consequence is a transmit-path hang, not data access or modification.
