Kernel crash via misaligned GPU address assertions

Denial of service in the amdgpu gfx9 driver in affected Linux kernels allows attackers to crash the kernel via misaligned GPU addresses. Five BUG_ON assertions in gfx_v9_0_wait_reg_mem and the graphics, compute, and fence ring-emission paths terminate the kernel when GPU addresses fail required alignment checks. The flaw applies to kernels containing the affected gfx9 driver code; public sources do not identify the privilege needed to reach these paths.
