Unauthenticated account takeover via password-agnostic login
Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026
Weak authentication in Mira Android App 4.5.15.4 and Mira Monitor Firmware 1.7.1.47 allows remote attackers to take over cloud accounts. The Mira cloud API login endpoint accepts any format-valid password string and issues an active session token for the account identified by the submitted email address. No prior authentication or user interaction is required; an account email address is enough to read hormone records and modify account settings.
