CVE-2026-6805Network attack vector

Shared-file disclosure via offline access-code brute force

Published May 7, 2026 · Updated May 7, 2026

Information disclosure in Ercom Cryptobox Server allows remote attackers with a sharing-link URL to obtain data for offline code cracking. The external-sharing endpoint returns server-derived information that permits access-code guesses to be tested offline; Thales has not disclosed the response fields or validation logic involved. Possession of a valid sharing-link URL is required, but no account or user interaction is needed, and successful cracking exposes the files protected by that link.
