Unauthenticated post modification via unchecked scenario IDs
Published Jul 11, 2026 · Updated Jul 11, 2026
Missing authorization in AIWU AI Chatbot & Workflow Automation 1.4.12 and earlier allows remote attackers to publish or unpublish posts. The publishTasks and unpublishTasks AJAX handlers accept an arbitrary scenario ID and change the linked WordPress post's publication state without verifying authorization. No authentication is required; publishing a draft exposes unpublished content, while unpublishing a live post interrupts its availability.
