Unauthenticated attachment deletion via unchecked object ID
Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026
Missing authorization in Fahad Mahmood Easy Upload Files During Checkout 3.0.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete media attachments. The ufdc_custom_init() function accepts an attacker-controlled attachment identifier from the eufdc-delete parameter and deletes that object without nonce, capability, or ownership checks. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation permanently removes selected WordPress media-library content.
