Stored XSS via unrestricted script-capable file upload
Published Aug 17, 2026 · Updated Aug 18, 2026
Stored XSS in JeecgBoot 3.9.2 allows remote attackers to run JavaScript in another user's browser via /airag/chat/upload. The unauthenticated upload handler accepts script-capable SVG and HTML files, stores them on disk, and exposes the upload directory through same-origin static routing. A victim must open the returned file URL; the script then runs in the JeecgBoot origin and can read accessible session data or invoke permitted backend actions.
