Application crash via unbounded tilde username allocation

Stack exhaustion in GNU Project glibc 2.2.3 through 2.43 allows remote attackers to crash affected applications via untrusted wordexp input. The parse_tilde function uses strndupa to copy a tilde-prefixed username into stack storage sized directly from the input without a bound. Exploitation requires an application to pass attacker-controlled text to wordexp; the resulting stack clash interrupts that application.
