CVE-2026-67614Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vectorHinoki check available

Unauthenticated root shell via hard-coded JWT secret

Published Aug 13, 2026 · Updated Aug 13, 2026

Authentication bypass in CyberPanel before 3.0.0 allows unauthenticated remote attackers to obtain a root shell through WebTerminal. The FastAPI SSH service on port 8888 verifies HS256 JWTs with a secret embedded in every affected installation and trusts the token's ssh_user claim. Forging a token with ssh_user set to root opens an interactive WebSocket shell with root privileges and no valid CyberPanel credentials.
