CVE-2026-67596

Secret disclosure via static Router.cfg XOR key

Published Jul 30, 2026 · Updated Jul 30, 2026

Weak encryption in CSL 1010 M2M 3G WiFi Module firmware 2.2.1.4 and earlier allows attackers to read stored secrets from Router.cfg. Router.cfg is obfuscated with a static single-byte XOR key rather than encryption, so reversing the cipher exposes every stored value in plaintext. Local access to the backup file is required; disclosure is limited to stored administrative, network, carrier, and SIM credentials.
