Authenticated denial of service via unbounded transfers
Published Aug 5, 2026 · Updated Aug 5, 2026
Resource exhaustion in Apache Qpid ProtonJ2 1.1.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service via AMQP transfers. Incoming-delivery processing accepts an unbounded number of transfer frames for one delivery, allowing frame-associated state to consume excessive resources. Exploitation requires access to an AMQP endpoint using the library and is limited to service interruption; no data disclosure or modification is reported.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
