SQL injection or code execution via forged cursor
Published Aug 12, 2026 · Updated Aug 12, 2026
Deserialization in Ash 1.17.0 through 3.31.2 allows remote attackers to inject SQL or execute code through a forged pagination cursor. decode_values/2 accepts a client-controlled term containing %Ash.Query.Call{} and do_filters/4 splices it into a keyset comparison without a scalar check. An unauthenticated request to a reachable keyset-paginated read action can read or modify AshPostgres data or run commands in ETS and Simple data layers.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
