CVE-2026-67554Network attack vector

Authenticated service interruption via unbounded disposition ranges

Published Aug 5, 2026 · Updated Aug 5, 2026

Unchecked disposition ranges in Apache Qpid Proton DotNet 1.0.0 and earlier allow remote authenticated users to interrupt AMQP services. The disposition-frame handler processes attacker-supplied large or illegal ranges without an effective bound, consuming excessive CPU. An authenticated AMQP connection and a crafted disposition frame are required; the bounded impact is service interruption, not data disclosure or modification.
