OAuth2 secret disclosure via unauthenticated JavaScript endpoint
Published Sep 25, 2026 · Updated Sep 25, 2026
Information disclosure in RabbitMQ Server 4.2.0 through 4.2.8 and 4.3.0 through 4.3.2 allows remote attackers to read an OAuth2 client secret. The bootstrap handler omits authorization and serializes oauth_client_secret into JavaScript returned by /js/oidc-oauth/bootstrap.js. Exposure requires the management plugin, OAuth2 for the UI, a configured client secret, and network access to the management port.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
