Cross-tenant data modification via unscoped entity lookup
Published Jul 30, 2026 · Updated Jul 30, 2026
Incorrect authorization in Vendure through 3.7.1 allows remote authenticated users to modify another channel's assets and stock locations. The AssetService.update and StockLocationService.update methods fetched entities by global ID without filtering on the active channel before saving changes. A channel-scoped administrator needs a target entity ID and can overwrite another tenant's catalog or inventory-location data.
