Authenticated second-factor bypass via premature session caching

Authentication bypass in Better Auth before 1.4.9 allows remote authenticated users to access protected routes without completing 2FA. During primary sign-in, session.cookieCache stores the new session as valid before second-factor verification, and later lookups reuse it without rechecking the 2FA requirement. Exposure requires valid primary credentials and applications configured with both two-factor authentication and session cookie caching.
